To the Entire K9 Turbo Training Community,
I’m writing because I have some exciting and important news to share with you.
For the past 12 years, I have woken up every single day deeply in love with this business and the incredible work I get to do here. I have loved every moment of building something that truly makes a difference in people’s lives— creating a place where trainers can grow and learn together, helping people strengthen relationships with their dogs and overcome unimaginable obstacles. All while using kindness, teamwork, and compassion.
Building this business has been one of the greatest achievements and honors of my life, and I feel so grateful to have been able to do work that matters so deeply to me and impacts so many. And to have been able to meet and work alongside some really incredible people and professionals along the way.
And so after more than 12 incredible years of building and loving and caring for this amazing community, this amazing place, I find myself at a crossroads that feels both bittersweet and deeply exciting. My family’s needs have been pulling me in new directions, and I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what’s best for this business that I love so much.
— And with that, I have some truly exciting news to share with you. I am so incredibly excited to introduce you to someone you likely already know. The new owner and CEO of K9 Turbo Training— Rachel Marderosian!
As my family’s needs have increased, Rachel has naturally stepped into leading more of our daily operations. She’s been part of our team for over seven years, working in every role from admin to handling our most complex training cases, becoming the driving force behind many programs and the heart of our operations. She’s a certified trainer who cares about the details, loves education for trainers, clients, and the community, and is never going to stop trying to make this place the absolute best.
Rachel doesn’t just run the business well— she loves it the way I do. She lives and breathes our mission, lives our values, and is absolutely committed to everything that makes this place special. And always has.
What This Means for You
Most importantly—nothing about your experience with K9 Turbo will change. Rachel has been instrumental in developing all of the programs you already know and love, training many of your dogs, and supporting your training journeys. Our entire team will continue to grow under Rachel, and all our classes, services, and commitment to positive reinforcement and compassionate care will remain exactly the same.
This transition will ensure that K9 Turbo Training can continue to grow and thrive in all the ways you’ve come to count on, guided by someone who knows this business and its people in and out– and has already been shaping our approach for years.
From that very first day K9 Turbo Training opened its doors, I knew we were building something special—but I never imagined the incredible community we would create together.
I will never forget that we have built something great here. And that we have been part of something extraordinary. That you have been a part of this crazy movement that started back with a little black puppy named Turbo.
Whether you were one of our very first clients or you found us more recently, whether you are a vet or specialist who refers to us, or just happened to find us online, you have played an essential role in making K9 Turbo Training what it is today. Every trust you’ve placed in us, every success celebrated, every challenge worked through together—it all matters. It all made K9 Turbo Training what it is today.
I have never taken for granted what a blessing it’s been to be part of your dogs’ lives and your families. Together as a community, we’ve helped thousands of dogs and their people build stronger relationships, created a place where people feeling overwhelmed with their dogs could find support, and built a community that’s supported each other through everything—even a global pandemic. All with our dogs by our sides and a desire to learn and be better in our hearts.
Looking Ahead with Excitement
I’m not disappearing—this will always be my first and only true love, so I’ll be around. But I’m honestly so excited to watch Rachel take K9 Turbo Training into its next chapter with the team. Rachel has plans to continue growing all the things you love about K9 Turbo Training while adding new ways to serve the community, the trainers, and the dogs.
— Most of all, I’m grateful. Grateful for every moment you’ve trusted me, grateful for the community that was built through K9 Turbo, and grateful that I get to pass this incredible place to someone who will care for it —and all of you—with the same love and dedication it deserves.
