Basic Skills and Confidence Building
This 14-day program is designed to meet your basic training and obedience goals. Skills may include basic cues (like ‘sit’ and ‘stay’), coming when called, walking on a loose leash, or house manners. Your dog will work with a Certified Professional Dog Trainer for four sessions per day, plus enjoy a variety of enrichment and exercise activities on our 17-acre property. Please note that this program is not sufficient for meeting reactivity and aggression goals.
This 28-day program is designed for dogs who are reactive (bark, lunge, growl) towards other dogs or people while on leash, when visitors come to your home, or when behind a barrier (such as a fence). Your trainer will use classical and operant conditioning to change your dog’s emotional response to triggers. Please note that this program is for dogs without a bite history or with only defensive bites (bite and retreat, did not chase or follow after target); dogs with a more severe bite history will require the aggression program.
This 42-day program is designed for dogs who show active aggression (going after the target, unable to calm down, snapping, bites that leave one or more puncture wound) towards other dogs or people. Your trainer will use classical and operant conditioning to change your dog’s emotional response to triggers.
